Something About Mary...

Mary Hogan is the bestselling author of TWO SISTERS and the historical novel, THE WOMAN IN THE PHOTO. Her most recent novel, LEFT: A LOVE STORY, was inspired by her late husband, actor Robert Hogan, who passed away after a long illness. (Seen here MANY years ago in his first film, Greenwich Village Story.)

Mary is the rare author whose work spans three genres: Adult, Young Adult and Historical Fiction.  Her seven teenage novels include: THE SERIOUS KISS, PERFECT GIRL, PRETTY FACE and the SUSANNA Series.

Ms. Hogan has also written for several national magazines. Personal stories, mostly, such as "Lasting Lessons" (Woman's Day) about the final days of her mother's life, "Malibu Dreamin'" (Coastal Living) about her longings as a young writer, and "Taking the Peroxide Plunge" (Fitness) about life in the blonde lane. Hint: Who has the time to maintain those roots?!

On a personal note, Mary recently left New York City for the stunning coast of Maine. She lives in a restored 150-year old farmhouse with her exuberant rescue pup, Puck. Woof.
